Although Absolut apologized Saturday (4/6/2008) for their ad campaign, their apology
was marginalized by one particular statement: "As a global company, we recognize that people in different parts of the world may lend different perspectives or interpret our ads in a different way than was intended in that market"
By viewing the ad picture below, any rational human being draws a clear understanding about the intent of the ad.
We agree, in part, with one of Michelle Malkin's readers: "In an Absolut world, a company that produces vodka fires its entire marketing department in a desperate attempt to win back enraged North American customers after a disastrous ad campaign backfires".
We intent to continue this boycott until the employee responsible for approving the ad is fired from the company.
Absolut Sprits, producers of the popular Absolut Vodka, has allowed an ad campaign in Quien Magazine in Mexico City that
features a "fantasy" map of Mexico (see below). The ad campagin, entitled "In An Absolut World," incites insurection
by illegal aliens and pro-Mexico supporters in the United States. Here is the original report, by Michelle Malkin, about
the deplorable activity by Absolut Spirits.
It's time for Americans to put their foot down and say enough is enough! We are
not going to put up with corporations aiding and abetting illegal aliens
anymore!

Please join our national boycott of Absolut Sprits Company by taking the
following steps.
1. Sign our support list below and send the Absolut corporation a clear message.
2. Refuse to buy any Absolut Sprits products including Absolut Vodka and others.
3. Vow to spread the word to other Americans via e-mail, calls, and word of
mouth to ask them to do the same.
4. Write, call, and e-mail Absolut Sprits Company to
demand that they stop advocating violating our sovereign borders.
Email: jeffrey.moran@absolut.com to let him know that Americans will not stand
for this type of behavior from corporations that operate within our borders.
5. Call your local bars, stores, pubs, and clubs and ask them to discontinue
purchase and sales of Absolut products.
6. Send out an email to
your friends, family, co-workers, and favorite organizations using our template asking them to support
the boycott.
7. Download this ABSOLUT TREASON brochure and post near your local liquor stores and bars.
"We the undersigned represent the more than 80% of
Americans that want our existing immigration laws enforced, our borders secured,
and companies that hire, aid, and abet illegal aliens sanctioned to fullest
extent of the law.
Aiding and abetting illegal aliens is a felony
under federal law Section 8 USC
1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii). This law has a six year statute of limitations and
companies currently violating these laws can be prosecuted up to six years in
the future.
We the undersigned demand that all companies and
corporations operating within the territory of the USA cease and desist any
financial or political support for illegal aliens, groups, organizations,
candidates, and activists that support illegal immigration and illegal
aliens.
We further resolve to boycott all companies identified as aiding and
abetting these groups or individuals through the America First Boycott. We will cease buying the products of these companies, divest
our stocks holdings, and encourage others to do
the same.
We will pursue all political and legal remedies to
have our existing laws enforced and prevent companies from supporting illegal
aliens and their support networks."
